Kentaro select Emirates Stadium to host Brazil match

The Football Association of Ireland today (January 15) confirmed that Kentaro, the international sports event promoter who invited the Republic of Ireland to play Brazil, has selected Emirates Stadium to host the match. The friendly will take place on March 2, subject to approval from the relevant regulatory authorities.
Kentaro are expected to confirm further details next week, including kick off time and ticket information. Besides the March friendly against Brazil, 2010 will also see Giovanni Trapattoni’s side play the inaugural international match at Aviva Stadium against Argentina on August 11.
