Manchester United to play opening game at Aviva.

The Football Association of Ireland today (May 12) confirmed that Manchester United are coming to Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on August 4, where they will face an Airtricity League XI. The historic game will be the first football match to take place in the new Aviva stadium and will be closely followed on August 11 by the meeting of the Republic of Ireland and Argentina.

The draw for the EURO 2012, Group B qualifiers was made at UEFA's congress in Tel Aviv, Israel today. The Republic of Ireland will start their campaign away to Armenia on Friday, September 3rd and will host Andorra at the Aviva Stadium four days later on Tuesday, September 7th.More Articles...
